NOMINATION AND SELECTION PROCESS
Each participating college in Canada may nominate up to five students who are currently enrolled in an eligible program (2011-2012 academic year). To recognize regional differences in college structure, public CEGEPs in Quebec can nominate up to three students and province-wide college systems in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick can nominate up to two students per college campus. Students must first submit their complete application package directly to their designated college representative (see www.garfieldwestonawards/collegescegeps). Based on the submissions received, the institution will determine which applicants are to be nominated. The representative will then complete the Certificate of Nomination on Page 8 of each application and forward the application directly to the W. Garfield Weston Awards program.
